at g[squared], we strongly value our community. our staff get involved in charitable initiatives close to their hearts. we seek out suppliers and clients with a strong community focus. and we do great work to help our charitable clients impact even more lives.
these are some community-based projects we’re proud to have been part of.
g[squared] ceo glori meldrum is the founder of little warriors, an important new charitable organization with a national focus. little warriors educates adults to help prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. they also provide information about the prevalence and frequency of child sexual abuse and offer healing and support resource information.
little warriors officially launched on march 5, 2008, with the help of g[squared] and sister company trafik digital design. g[squared] developed all the creative materials for the mass marketing campaign, which is supported by over $3 million in donated media. in partnership with hiqsoft inc., trafik digital design produced little warriors’ website, a comprehensive resource for concerned adults and child sexual abuse survivors.
since the campaign launch, little warriors has garnered a great deal of national attention, with over one million hits on its website and a wide variety of news coverage. g[squared] is proud to offer its support towards making a significant difference in the lives of our youth.

project s.o.s. helicopter
when 630 ched’s bob layton asked, "why doesn’t edmonton have a police helicopter of its own?," the community response was swift and powerful. g[squared] client crystal glass immediately stepped up to the plate and partnered with g[squared] to play a facilitative role in the planning, implementation and monitoring of all advertising and marketing initiatives associated with project s.o.s. helicopter. in total g[squared] donated approximately $125,000 in services.
stollery children’s hospital foundation
in addition to developing a variety of creative pieces for both the stollery children's hospital foundation and bearyland, g[squared] also works in conjunction with the stollery children's hospital foundation to secure corporate and media sponsorship for their awareness campaigns. to date, g[squared] has donated over $75,000 in services to the stollery children’s hospital foundation.
g[squared] has donated over $12,000 in services to the good samaritan society for the development of their annual report as well as the journey.
canadian breast cancer foundation
to assist the canadian breast cancer foundation prairies/nwt chapter in reaching its goals for the 2006 cibc run for the cure campaign, g[squared] effectively allocated and leveraged the foundation’s advertising budget, developed creative advertising campaigns, grassroots initiatives and managed media production and buying. in addition to securing media and supplier sponsorships in excess of $1 million for the campaign, g[squared] also donated approximately $35,000 in services.
what a girl wants
the 2006 what a girl wants event was an event developed by women, for women, in support of women. the event saw approximately 300 women take part in an evening of shopping and indulgence in support the lois hole hospital for women. g[squared] donated its services for developing the marketing collateral pieces and helped to secure vendors and coordinate various aspects during the planning stages. the event was a huge success, raising over $200,000 to date.
