little warriors hears stories of kids being sexually abused every day. these stories are heart wrenching; filled with emotion and pain. that’s why little warriors recently launched its new stand up for our kids program.
for far too long a blind eye has been turned to child sexual abuse.
the latest initiative from little warriors invites the public to join the movement by standing up for our kids and becoming part of the solution.
since its inception, little warriors has educated more than 2,000 adults to help break the cycle of child sexual abuse, impacting approximately 20,000 children. in addition, the little warriors website has reached over 3 million website hits accounting of more than 70,000 unique visits.

the stollery children’s hospital:
- 140,000 infant, child and youth patient visits
- over 600 heart surgeries and 11 heart transplants
- 600 infant and child emergency transports
- 665 pediatric intensive care patients
- 3,200 patients in the neonatal intensive care network
- 23,000 pediatric ER patients (double capacity)
- 8,000 surgical procedures
with one hospital responsible for much, the need for funding is vital.
